Flourish Dance Company

Flourish Dance Company offers a collection of high-caliber dance and

physical education classes in an environment that nurtures the spiritual growth

of dancers and athletes. Beyond receiving top-notch training, dancers gain

confidence in knowing God created them uniquely for a purpose. We

recognize the importance of dancers being healthy both physically and

spiritually.

We believe that excellence in dance and a God-honoring environment

shouldn’t be mutually exclusive. The high-quality, technically centered training

we provide allows dancers the opportunity for increased growth in their God-given

talents and abilities without compromising Biblical values and beliefs.

Our goal is to provide dance excellence in an environment that fills the spiritual

cup of dancers, teachers, and their families.

Flourish Dance Company was created with the homeschooling family in

mind. We strive to offer excellence in dance in a manner that honors and

prioritizes God and family. As such, our classes are held in the early

afternoon to preserve family togetherness.

We are located at 3132 Fortune Way D1, in Wellington, FL. and operate

between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 4 pm Monday, Wednesday & Friday.

What We Believe:

 

  • We believe holding dancers to a standard of their personal best creates success in all aspects of life. In doing this, we work to help dancers live out Colossians 3:23. We strive to teach dancers that when they work diligently, they honor God, and themselves.

 

  • We believe teaching dancers to support, encourage, and pray for one another helps them live out Romans 10:12. We strive to teach them that the love of God, demonstrated by Jesus on the cross, is our foundation for how to treat others. We believe this truth will challenge them to be selfless, loving, and devoted friends and teammates.

 

  • We believe that dance (and music) can be powerful forms of worship and evangelism. As a result, the music used in all our programs has been intentionally chosen by our choreographers to spread the love of Christ and the gospel to our dancers and audience.

 

  • We believe that studying dance in one’s youth leads to the formation of responsible, diligent, and innovative adults. We accept it as our challenge to combine that truth with a loving, Christ-centered community. In doing so, we believe we will create a generation of adults who can and will catalyze change.
