Competitive Team

Flourish Dance Company provides a unique opportunity for dancers to receive top notch training for 7-9 hours per week,

mentored by some of the most respected Christian dance instructors in South, FL. This training emphasizes technical excellence.

Company dancers will be divided into three groups: Lilies, Roses, and Peonies.
Lilies and Roses will have the chance to compete in various dance competitions and perform throughout the season. Peonies will be apprentices and will train together with the competitive company and attend conventions, laying the foundation for their growth as dancers.

Roots

FDC’s Roots program provides all dancers ages 6+ the opportunity to receive top-notch training for 1-4 hours per week, mentored by some of the most respected Christian dance instructors in South, FL. The curriculum for Roots was carefully curated by FDC’s Artistic Directors, to instill proper foundational elements into the lives of young artists. This training emphasizes laying a strong foundation for technical excellence while fostering a love of dance and self-expression.

Seedlings

The study of dance in early childhood has been proven to improve physical and mental development in children. The Seedlings curriculum was designed to include foundational elements of Ballet, Jazz, and Acrobatics. By adding the elements of spiritual praise and worship through the art of dance, our program truly plants the seed for dancers that will continue to blossom as artists, athletes, and followers of Christ.
